The school is an independent co-educational school for 4 to 18 year olds, with 1400+ pupils across three campuses; Junior, Senior and Pre-Preparatory (Pre-Prep).
The Pre-Prep Classroom Extension will be three storeys once complete, with a partial basement and a covered play area to the ground floor.
Works comprises of: demolition and site clearance, piling and RC frame, cavity wall brickwork with ashlar dressings, insulated render, composite windows and green & blue roof with full internal classroom and library fit out. Other key features of the project include a rooftop conservatory, 1st floor extension to the south elevation and a covered play area with feature external spiral staircase.
The project is also challenging due to being adjoined to Grindal House (Pre-Prep School).
Our programme and methodology has taken into account the constraints of working within a live School environment and our sequenced works ensure minimal disruption is caused to the School and the safety of school children and public is maintained.
