The Channing School Performing Arts Building is an exciting multi-purpose theatre for the school situated in North London.

This impressive scheme has provided its children, teachers and the surrounding community with a state of the art space which allows the flexibility to easily move between performance modes, including Music, Theatre and Teaching.

Completed in September 2017, this £6m project has also allowed the school the opportunity to develop their outdoor spaces previously not available to the children. A new landscape scheme has provided the school with new access roads and entrances, open green space, new playground areas, as well as peaceful seating areas for the children and teachers alike to study outdoors or just sit down and enjoy their free time.

The Project Team, working through the many challenges presented from working within the heart of a live private school, delivered a building comprised of many different elements. These included a basement building, a hybrid structure made up from RC, Steel Frame and CLT, sophisticated theatre equipment, ultimately providing the school with a high end finish.
